XBOX One X - How to Get the Shell Off & On Again
This is a really short video that you should watch before you attempt any repair of your XBOX One X / Scorpio console.

The console shell is fairly easy to get off, and will only take you a few seconds, but getting it back on can be a pain in the ass.
​
It took me a few attempts the first time I ever tried, so I thought I'd share how best to do it, so you don't feel like throwing the whole thing out of the window in frustration.
​
Then you can move on to stripping the console down for whichever repair you need to do.
​
Common faults with the XBOX X are overheating (yes, again..) blu ray / disc drive problems, and software / hard drive faults.
